Description

Blue Botanical Tapestry Lumbar Cushion with Fringe Trim | 25 Inch | Lumbar Pillow

Same tapestry -- botanical motifs in dusty blue-grey and cream, dark navy fringe border -- in the lumbar format at 13 by 25. The horizontal orientation changes what the pattern does: the botanical motifs read across a wide, low band rather than filling a square, which makes the pattern feel like a considered panoramic detail rather than a centered composition. The fringe along the long edges reads as a continuous horizontal texture line at the sofa back, the dark border above and below the pale botanical ground giving the lumbar a strong defined silhouette at the seating position.

The tapestry lumbar is the format choice when the arrangement is already carrying other cushions. A square tapestry in a full cushion stack introduces pattern at a significant scale; the lumbar brings the same motifs at a more contained reading -- a horizontal band of botanical reference rather than a full front-facing statement. Against a sofa in a neutral solid, the tapestry lumbar reads as the sofa's single pattern moment at the back center. The botanical motifs in this horizontal span read as a landscape reference -- the forms spreading left and right across the face as they would in a wide, low view. In warm lamplight the woven texture becomes particularly present: the fringe catching the light along the top edge, the raised motifs showing their depth across the horizontal ground.

Pairs with the square tapestry for a coordinated arrangement, or with the faux mohair lumbar in the same colorway for a texture-varied set at the same scale and position. At 2.4 pounds light in its placement. The feather and fiber fill responds to regular fluffing. The botanical tapestry in lumbar format belongs in rooms where pattern is used as a specific, contained decision -- one piece carrying a reference to botanical history, everything surrounding it quieter.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
